The Symposium will highlight examples of how employers are making significant strides in addressing mental health in the workplace, recognizing the crucial role it plays in employees' overall well-being and productivity. We also will discuss mental health parity issues, including President Biden’s new rule to improve insurance coverage for mental health conditions, and strategies to increase equitable access to quality mental health care. The Symposium is a program of the DFWBGH Lone Star Depression Challenge, a collaborative initiative with Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute and The Path Forward for Mental Health & Substance Use Disorders.
